Lenox Advisors is looking to hire interns for the following roles: 

Business & Strategic Solutions Intern

Summary: The Business & Strategic Solutions intern will spend 8 weeks assisting with a wide range of data projects across the organization.  This is a cross-functional role and will give the intern a wide variety of opportunities to work with employees from multiple departments.  The data analyst role will be doing significant work leveraging Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft tools.

Location: New York City, New York

This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility a few days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement & Support
    • Assist with extraction, aggregation, and merging of data across multiple data sources
    • Help to organize and formalize datasets across multiple departments
    • Work with Data Analyst to document and formalize data curriculum for organization
    • Assists with the analysis and recommendation of data processes improvements
  • Data Analysis
    • Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports using Excel or other tools
    • Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices
    • Support subject matter expert with documentation on data best practices
    • Assist with building the automation of data clean-up tasks leveraging Power BI
  • Administrative Support
    • Help schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
    • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as organizing and maintaining team documentation and files
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow
    • Assist in preparing internal communications and announcements
    • Assist with maintenance of Department Intranet Page

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy, or other data analytics tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Education and/or Experience:

  • Rising senior of a four-year university preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in college, community, internship, etc.

New Business & Advanced Sales Intern

Summary: The New Business & Advanced Sales Intern will spend 8 weeks supporting in various administrative and project-based assignments, that are designed in providing essential business insights and hands-on experience.

Location: New York City, New York

This is a hybrid position with in-office flexibility a few days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process Support
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand operational processes
    • Aid in executing routine operational tasks
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest ideas to enhance efficiency
  • Research and Analysis
    • Conduct basic research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices
    • Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports using Excel or other tools
    • Support subject matter experts in gathering information for decision-making
  • Administrative Support
    • Help schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
    • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as organizing and maintaining team documentation and files
  • Training and Onboarding Assistance
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to support training initiatives
    • Assist in preparing training materials and resources
    • Help with research and outlining potential training formats such as pre-recorded and podcasting
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow
    • Assist in preparing internal communications and announcements
  • Miscellaneous
    • Support the operational team in preparing and conducting in-person and virtual team building exercises
