Our Story

As young entrepreneurs passionate about leadership and education, sisters Katlyn Grasso and Samantha Grasso founded GenHERation^®, which is a network where students and companies connect. Through our digital platform and international events, we create life-changing opportunities for high school and college students. Since 2014, GenHERation^® has empowered more than 700,000 students and hosted 1,500 events, including our award-winning GenHERation^® Discovery Days tour that has been named the largest career exploration trip in the United States. We work with more than 300 companies, including Fortune 500 companies, tech giants, retailers, government agencies, and sports franchises. Recognized as a venture that has the potential to change the world, GenHERation^®received the inaugural Penn President’s Engagement Prize from former Penn President Dr. Amy Gutmann. GenHERation® was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Education list as one of the most innovative education companies in the world.
