Gallagher National Case Competition
College freshmen and sophomores are invited to join Gallagher for a national case competition that will task students with developing a customized pitch for a prospective client. This challenge will focus on the following skills needed to succeed in the financial services industry:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Competitive Analysis
- Critical Thinking
- Presentation Skills
- Emotional Intelligence
Important Dates & Times
Please note that all components of this competition will take place virtually.
Friday, March 12th: Applications Due
Participants can sign up as a team (up to 5 students) or as an individual. Students will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis. Students will receive the case details from the Gallagher team at the March 19th information session.
Friday, March 19th from 3-4 PM EST/12-1 PM PST: Gallagher Information Session + Case Analysis Workshop
Students will meet Gallagher leaders and participate in a skill-development workshop to prepare for the case.
Friday, March 26th from 12-2 PM EST/9-11 AM EST: Mentoring Session with Gallagher Professionals
Students will meet with Gallagher professionals for a 30-minute mentoring session between 12-2 PM EST/9-11 AM PST to get feedback on their presentations.
Friday, April 9th from 10 AM EST-5 PM EST/7 AM-2 PM PST: Team Presentations
Students will present their pitches to the judges and the winners will be announced in the closing ceremony at 5 PM EST/2 PM PST. Participants will sign up for a 30-minute presentation timeslot and are only expected to attend during their scheduled presentation time.

Requirements
Participants must be a freshman or sophomore currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or university in the United States or Canada.
Participants must be available for 2 hours throughout March and April for the virtual sessions with the Gallagher team (1 hour on 3/19, 30 minutes on 3/26, and 30 minutes on 4/9).
Please note that if you apply as a team, each team member still needs to submit her own application.
