About Gloria Gravlin
Gloria supports Capital One’s Card associate mobility efforts as the leader of the Card Social Mobility Team where she’s focused on creating access where it doesn’t exist and investing in structure and leadership to drive mobility and accountability.
She has been with Capital One for 22 years. Starting as a front-line agent with HSBC, Gloria went on to hold a variety of roles primarily focused on deep, complex problem solving, horizontal intent, and risk management. Gloria has also supported Capital One globally, opening contact centers throughout India and most recently through a global mobility assignment in Toronto, where she led the Canada Division’s risk governance processes. As part of Capital One’s social mobility efforts, Gloria and her team built Catalyst, an internal mobility initiative focused on aligning amazing BIPOC talent to roles throughout the company. They also support a growing portfolio of workforce development, internal, and social mobility initiatives.
Gloria was previously the program manager for Magellan, Voices, the Black Business Resource Group’s flagship development program, and National Co-Lead of the Voices Development workstream. She recently stepped into the National Co-Lead role for Voices.
She lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, Greg and youngest son, Emerson. Their two oldest sons, Bryce and Donovan, are off at college and semi-adulting.
