Capital One Business Analyst Invitational
Date: Friday, October 21, 2022
Time: 1-3 PM EST/10 AM-12 PM PST
College freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join Capital One for the Capital One Business Analyst Invitational that will allow students to learn more about Capital One’s Analyst Development Program (ADP). Students will hear from Capital One leaders, engage in small group discussions, and participate in a case workshop. This invitational will focus on the following topics, so students can learn how to succeed as a Capital One Business Analyst associate:
- How to Stand Out in the Interview
- A Day in the Life at Capital One
- Building a Career at Capital One
Additionally, the Capital One Business Analyst Invitational will focus on the following skills needed to succeed in college and the workforce:
- Effective Communication
- Critical and Persuasive Thinking
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- Presentation Skills
- Emotional Intelligence
- Networking
Please note that all components of this invitational will take place virtually.
Application Deadline
Applications are due by Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST.
Students will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis. Students will receive their invitational materials and case details from the Capital One team on Monday, October 17, 2022.
Requirements
- Participants must be college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
- Participants must be available to attend the entire Capital One Business Analyst Invitational on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 1-3 PM EST/10 AM-12 PM PST
- Please note that if you apply as a team, each team member still needs to submit their own application
Prizes
5 participants will receive a mentoring session with a Capital One associate and a GenHERation® x Capital One prize pack. The students will be selected based on engagement during the workshop.
Capital One’s Analyst Development Program
As a Business Analyst associate in the Analyst Development Program (ADP), you’ll apply your strategic and analytical skills to impactful challenges that drive company growth—like launching new credit card and technology-driven products, crafting Capital One’s marketing and digital strategy, and analyzing the business impacts of credit approval and real-time fraud detection, just to name a few. You’ll have the opportunity to explore, while being mentored by senior leaders.
