NFP Cohort
College freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join the virtual GenHERation® x NFP 2026 Cohort. This Cohort welcomes students from across the country and is designed to equip students with the tools needed to advance their professional goals. Cohort attendees will hear from NFP leaders, engage in small group discussions, and participate in a mock interview, while learning about career opportunities at NFP.
Cohort programming will focus on the following topics:
- Career Readiness
- Investing in Yourself
By participating in the GenHERation® x NFP 2026 Cohort, students will refine important skills needed to succeed in college and the workforce, including:
- Effective Communication
- Critical and Persuasive Thinking
- Teamwork
- Leadership
- Presentation Skills
- Emotional Intelligence
- Networking
Part 1: Skill-Building Workshops
Date: Friday, November 6, 2026
Time: 1-2 PM EST/10-11 AM PST
Part 2: Mock Interviews
Date: Friday, November 6, 2026
Time: 2-5 PM EST/11 AM-2 PM PST (students are expected to attend one, 30-minute mock interview during this time)
Application Deadline
Applications are due by Friday, October 23, 2026 at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST.
Students will be notified of their acceptance on a rolling basis.
Requirements
- Participants must be college freshmen, sophomores, or juniors
- All majors are welcome
- Participants must be available to attend the Skill-Building Sessions and one Mock Interview (total time commitment = 1.5 hours)
