New year, new skills! The GenHERation® New Year Skill-Building Sessions are weekly workshops with industry experts to empower our community to make the most of the new year. These sessions will provide participants with meaningful ways to learn from accomplished leaders, develop new skills, and prepare for future opportunities. Sessions will take place virtually every Wednesday in January from 7-7:30 PM EST/4-4:30 PM PST. Participants will receive a link via email the morning of the scheduled event to join the discussion. Registration is open until 5 PM EST/2 PM PST the day of the session.

About Christian Young
Christian Young, MBA, is a Senior Manager in Advisory Services at EY with over nine years of Internal Audit experience in the printing, automotive, renewable energy, diversified industrial products, telecommunications, and manufacturing industries. Christian’s wide range of experiences include leading operational audits and SOX 404 implementation engagements, implementing contract compliance programs, assessing internal controls facilitating controls transformation initiatives, and assisting in special projects. Christian is a graduate of the University of Toledo and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Christian is a key contributor to the firm’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. She was most recently the project manager for the Americas Black Professional Network Steering Committee and is currently active with the Central Region EY Unplugged Development Program. Christian is also very active with her teams and counselees and enjoys working with them to develop new skills. Christian is a member of the Board of Directors at La Casa Norte, NABA, ISACA, the IIA, and also Black MBA and takes an active interest in community and professional initiatives that help to empower people.
