On June 12th, three Israeli teens went missing. They were only found last week, under a pile of stones near the West Bank. Naftali Fraenkel, Eyal Yilfrach, and Gilad Shaer were only teenagers when they were, we assume, murdered by suspected Palestinian militants. They were abducted as they were hitchhiking home from their yeshivas, or institutions that focus on the study of traditional Jewish texts. President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel have both denounced the actions taken by (presumably) Hamas terrorists; funerals are now underway for the teenagers. Observers in Israel are noticing that the nation is becoming more unified after the incident – the atmosphere is of faith.
