I have learned first hand about the good work that Teach for America is from a family member who joined the program shortly after college. Teach for America is a nonprofit organization that enlists recent college graduated and professionals to teach a low-income schools.

I love her and her organization. I’ve held many teaching positions, (both volunteering as a lead teacher and for pay as a T.A.) and I really enjoyed them, but at the same time I really wanted to go into business. There are a lot of others I know who feel similarly, who want a career working with other adults but still like teaching. She makes it possible to do both!
