Motorola and Verizon are together announcing the Droid Turbo, a new Droid-branded smartphone with a focus on super fast charging capabilities. Verizon claims that the phone can get eight hours of battery life in just 15 minutes by using a special turbo charger that is sold with the phone. A fully charged Droid Turbo promises 48 hours of battery life. The company says that they can accomplish this with a massive 3900mAh battery and smarter software to make the battery run as efficiently as possible. Verizon is also offering a handful of deals for this advice, such as waiving all activation and upgrade fees when purchasing a Droid Turbo.
