Because babies being able to use iPads isn’t enough, YouTube has announced that the company will be releasing an app specifically for children, YouTube Kids. The free app is now accessible from Google Inc.’s online video service. Though it will be separate from the mainstream YouTube app, the YouTube Kids app will allow parents to utilize parental controls to do things like limit the time their children can spend on the app. Additionally, the app will be made even more kid friendly with larger icons and limited scrolling. Alternate internet services, like Bing and Facebook, do not currently offer options for children under 13 years old.
