The HBO Now app has finally made its way to the Apple TV and iOS just in time for the premiere of Game of Thrones. HBO Now was officiallyannounced at Apple’s special press event in March, where the company revealed the new MacBook and detailed its launch plans for the Apple Watch, which is currently available for pre-order. The price to subscribe to this service is $14.99 a month, though people who sign up this month get a free 30-day trial.

If there is one thing Apple and Google agree on, it is the theory that only wearables can save humanity from “evil smartphones.” Google cofounder Sergey Brin mused that, “In addition to potentially socially isolating yourself when you’re out and about looking at your phone, it’s kind of, is this what you’re meant to do with your body? You’re standing around there and you’re just rubbing this featureless piece of glass.”
