Listen closely…can you hear the “tick, tock” floating through the air? That’s right – after much anticipation, Apple’s new product, the Apple Watch, is here. Boasting a sleek design, the watch will offer three options: stainless steel and black stainless steel for the Apple Watch; silver aluminum and gray aluminum for the Apple Watch Sport; and even 18-karat yellow gold and 18-karat rose gold for the Apple Watch Edition. Additionally the watch will be available with six different wristbands and includes a heartrate monitor and an accelerometer to measure body movements, including step count, making it especially appealing to exercise enthusiasts. One downside of the watch is that it needs the iPhone to connect to the internet and the iPhone must be a version of 5 or above with at least iOS 8 software. The starting price of the new gadget is $349 and though the exact release date is unknown, the watch is expected to go on sale some time in April.
