Tech: Apple Drops the Beats

The technology company Apple recently announced that they will be discontinuing Beats Music. The music subscription service is to shut down on November 30. All accounts will be deactivated on that day, but Apple is encouraging all subscribers to switch their subscriptions to Apple Music, the music subscription service that was launched in June, before that date. “All the pros that curated music for you are still crafting more amazing experiences,” said Apple in a release. “Plus, on Apple Music, you’ll get even better recommendations based on music you already listen to and love, 24/7 global radio with Beats 1, exciting material from your favorite artist, and more.”
