In Havana, another round of historic talks took place between Cuba and the US this week. The two countries are working towards having a more open relationship, and eventually hoping to establish a full diplomatic relationship. The two countries have huge differences however, and so there is a lot of controversy taking place in establishing the terms of the relationship between the countries. The two countries have especially different ideas of human rights, such as freedom of expression. There will be issues when recovering a relationship that has been tainted by 50 years of mistrust, but hopes are that it will benefit both countries.
