In recent days, the University of Chicago, SMU, John Hopkins University, and others have decided to extend their early decision deadlines. This has happened before due to complications such as the Sandy hurricane, and the Common Application. This year, it my have to do with the colleges receiving SAT scores involved in a massive cheating scandal. The University of Chicago has the deadline pinned on November 10, while others may be a little later or earlier but have still been extended.
