The U.S placed 5th for the number of adults 25 to 32 with college degrees which is at 43%. The direct cost of higher education in America is the highest in the world according to Paris based OECD with an average cost of $26, 021. The country with the highest number of college degrees for adults 23 to 32 was Russia at 53% closely followed by Canada at 52.6%. These are the only two countries where the majority of adults have a college degree.Russia has the lowest direct cost for college at an average of $7, 424 and the highest number of degrees.
