The popular technology giant that started out in a shed is now making plans to breaking up. This Tuesday Hewlett-Packard announced plans to split into two new publicly traded companies by the completion of fiscal 2015. Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and HP Inc. will be the new companies. Hewlett-Packard Enterprise will consist of HP’s market leading enterprise technology infrastructure, software, and services businesses. HP Inc. will comprise of market-leading personal systems and printing businesses. HP Inc. will also keep the company’s current logo. The goals for the future include becoming the leading personal systems and printing company with a strong roadmap into exciting new technologies such as 3D printing and new computing experiences.
