Ventureneer is looking for an intern to work on research reports that the company produces. Many of these reports are about women entrepreneurs. Ventureneer is a research, training, and content marketing company providing education and advocacy for entrepreneurs and small business owners. For corporations that want to reach these organizations, Ventureneer provides branded marketing opportunities that generate visibility, thought leadership and brand loyalty. Much of our work is about women entrepreneurs. Ventureer is led by female entrepreneur Geri Stengel who writes about the success factors of women entrepreneurs for Forbes.
Ideally the candidate would be be skilled in two areas: analyzing numbers in PowerPoint, and formatting reports in Word and PowerPoint. However, since one person may not be skilled in both areas, tasks can be divided between two people.
Some data analysis using Excel and making charts in Excel from data.
Formatting reports in Word and PowerPoint.
Excel skills include working with multiple worksheets, Pivot Tables, and Pivot Charts. In addition the ability to use logical, financial, and statistical functions and to make charts from numbers.
Word skills include formatting text using style guides, creating document sections, formatting tables and inserting and formatting graphics.
Powerpoint skills include creating and modifying templates, finding commercial free images, incorporating video and graphics.
Being detail oriented is a must and ability to proofread is a plus.
Must be a self starter. Projects are ad hoc. Work remotely, no set hours
