Earlier this week, the UN released a new report on climate change. The report explains the predicament as “irreversible” and it turns out the issue of climate change is much worse than the world thought. Sea levels have risen, there’s not as much snow and ice on the ground, and heat waves are predicted to happen regularly in the coming years. The report suggests steps that can be taken worldwide, but extreme weather will be particularly hard on developing countries without the resources to deal with it. World governments have not set aside enough money to work on bringing temperatures down and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and actions need to be taken immediately. To set global warming on a different course, there needs to be some major changes regarding how the world will now approach climate change.
