Business: Being Nice Applies to Business Too

While it may appear that being nice is a sure-fire way to get walked over and taken for granted, there are exceptions in business where kindness can put a company in first place. Sharing the credit for work is important in making coworkers feel valued; it can also be a great motivating force for everyone. Handling situations rationally without getting upset can prevent business partners from shutting down mentally, and that prevents diverting energy used to fix an issue. A person can still be nice and honest at the same time so that things get done. Bad moods can be contagious, but so can good moods. Being friendly and treating clients or coworkers with respect can reflect positively on a business.
